The story behind AppToPub
AI canvas tools made it astonishingly easy to build a working app in minutes. But the moment you wanted to actually share it, reality hit: the app only ran while you were logged into your account, it had no real address, and anyone you sent it to had to sign in to the same platform just to try it. Something you were proud of was stuck behind a login wall.
AppToPub was built to remove that wall. It takes your exported app, hosts it at a permanent public URL, and proxies your AI provider key securely on the server — so the app keeps thinking and responding for your visitors even when you're nowhere near your computer. That single capability is the heart of the product: independence.
Why we built this
Too many great little apps die inside the tool that created them. They can't be shared, can't be found, and can't outlive a single browser session. We think anyone who builds something worth showing should be able to give it a real home.
So AppToPub treats your app the way you already feel about it: as something you own. You claim its address, choose its name, decide who can see it, and watch how people use it — without touching a line of infrastructure.

Built through vibe coding and agentic engineering
AppToPub is built by Keith Li, a product builder who ships real, working tools rather than prototypes. It comes from a simple conviction: a finished AI app deserves an independent public life instead of staying trapped inside a chat.
His practice has grown from vibe coding into agentic engineering — orchestrating AI agents to design, build, and harden production systems rather than throwaway prototypes. TranslationAI, another product in the portfolio, went from idea to a full working SaaS in about two weeks. AppToPub applies that same discipline to a different problem: taking a finished AI app and giving it an independent public life instead of leaving it trapped inside a chat.
AppToPub is one of a family of AI-powered products — including TranslationAI, DeckEdit, DopaSprint, HKGbook, and Famiroot — each built to take a capability that used to be locked away and hand it directly to the people who need it. They are developed under Keith's company, AllyticAI (allyticai.com), founded on 16 December 2025.
